The Kansas City Council on Thursday authorized $1 million to be used for a redevelopment plan at Armour Boulevard and Troost Avenue.
The funds, which will come from the existing Midtown Business Interruption Fund, will assist a proposal by MAC Properties, a company that has redeveloped several blocks of apartment buildings along Armour.
The city’s contribution is designed to pay for property acquisition, business relocations and environmental cleanup.
Good movements here.
